Texas Independence Day ~ Remember the A La Mode!
Raise the Texas flag and come in to Norma's Cafe on Friday, March 2 in honor of Texas Independence Day. Guests can choose from Texas-themed dishes including:
- Texican Platter, three shredded and smoked brisket tacos in a corn tortillas, topped with a mix of fresh cilantro and onions
- CFS with the San Jacinto upgrade, chicken fried steak served with Texas chili, cheese, onions and jalapenos
- Texas Frito Pie, served with chili, onions, jalapenos and cheddar cheese.
- Pecan Pie, for the jaw-dropping price of 99 cents
Join us for a voter registration drive to get all of our customers ready for the big day in November. Also, remember the A la Mode March 1-15 and get a half-priced scoop of ice cream with the purchase of any dessert. Celebrate Texas' 176th birthday at Norma's Cafe with Texas-sized fun!

National Grilled Cheese Day
On Thursday, April 12, for the 3rd consecutive year, join Norma's Cafe for National Grilled Cheese Day. In honor of this national festivity, both locations will give away hundreds of free grilled cheese sandwiches. The Norma's Cafe grilled cheese sandwich features American cheese melted and grilled to perfection on buttered Texas toast. No purchase is necessary. Soup is optional, but highly recommended. Both locations will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., and will offer one free sandwich for every customer throughout the day.
